Lucerne Grass hay

Soft green grass and Lucerne mix hay, a great natural blend!

This type of hay is perfect for horses that are in light work and get ridden once or twice a week - they need a little extra than just plain hay or grazing but not 'full strength' pure Lucerne, this hay is a perfect solution.

We cut this hay early in the spring before the grasses have turned yellow and gone to seed and before the lucerne stalk has become too tough. This hay is soft, green, sweet and smells great. 

We have had lots of great feedback on this hay with many customers buying a year long supply as soon as its baled early in the spring.

Approximately 30% native grass, 60% Lucerne, 10% clover.
